How do I lay a new water supply pipe and what are the regulations?
It is important that any work done to the water supply pipe meets the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations. There is a separate factsheet that explains how to lay a new water supply pipe. It describes the standards which any work on the water network must meet.
If you apply for the scheme, we will send you this factsheet. You should give it to your plumber so they know the work must meet the regulations. We will not make the connection to our water main until all your work meets these standards.
