Who is responsible for sewer flooding into my home, and will I be compensated?
Although United Utilities are not legally liable for sewer flooding, we will help organise clean up operations and suggest that you liaise with your home insurer. We will pay a customer commitment payment, plus refund your annual sewerage charges up to £1000.
If you are not insured United Utilities will evaluate your individual needs and help out where we can.
